From one of our favorite growers and dear friend- the legendary Casey Hartlip. He offered us some Counoise and we got a lot more than anticipated. Counoise changes the nose and midpalate- giving more spice/brightness. It is an intriguing Californian Rhone red wine. We call this wine, The Outcome.

Oak: 100% neutral French
Time in Oak: 18 months
Tasting Notes
Nose: Cranberry, Tahitian vanilla, rose petal, peat moss, white peppercorn
Palate: Lively, cherry, spiced rum, licorice, orange rind, Allspice, cardamom
Body: Light to medium bodied, spice.
Finish: Moderate+.
